Several of these require further digestion, but your tip about using ValidationGroup to control which validation controls are fired when certain buttons are pressed was just what I needed. I had an Insert/Edit/update/Delete datagrid and whenever the footer (which contained the Add New row) was enabled, all the RequiredFieldValidator controls would fire--before anything was entered. Very frustrating and your tip solved it.</description>
